Have I mentioned how much I HATE bugs?!

Oh. My. Goodness! So I am watching a show trying to fall asleep and suddenly I feel something on my face and then disappear. Honestly it kind of felt like a water drip. So I’m feeling around on the bed and looking up and trying to see if my neighbors floor might be leaking or something but don’t feel any water or anything so I figured I must have just imagined it and go back to watching my movie. Movie is over and I get up to put my computer away and suddenly there it is! This huge brown thing on my bed. Took my eyes a bit to focus and figure out it might be a moth. Doesn’t matter.. I am still in freak out mode. This THING was less than five inches away from me and all the times I was looking around I never saw it. Dang RP! I hate killing bugs but there was no way I could do anything other than just that. So I go to the restroom and get some tissue and then go back to the bed. Okay it’s not moving. I gently touch it with the toilet paper to see if its alive, it doesn’t move. I start to see it move a little bit a minute later and that’s when I go in for the kill. SMASH! There is this strange color on my bed, must be guts right?! WRONG! This dang bug flew off and I heard it land on a wall. Oh gracious it’s STILL in my room… I am going to be so paranoid. Haven’t heard anything from it since I heard it land on the wall and I better not hear anything else. Ugh. I go in for the kill, had a mess on my bed to prove it, and it is not dead. Now realize I am typing this at 4am because I am wide awake from that adrenaline rush and kind of creeped out to go back to sleep right away. Makiko was SO confused what I was doing and what was wrong. Man, that was traumatic lol.

No more bugs. At least not when I don’t have anyone here to kill them, because we all just learned how that went with me and Makiko definitely won’t kill them.

Here is the dang bug. Yes, when I discovered it wasn’t moving I took the opportunity to photograph it. I was just going to show it to friends and my boyfriend and tell them this story but then felt inspired to write a blog post.

Good Night. 😉

  1. Oh my gosh! This made me laugh!!! Not at you, promise! But I feel the same way about bugs!! HATE BUGS! Lol 🙂

    1. Apparently these darn things have decided to invade! I’m not kidding. In afraid of how many I am NOT seeing because two in twelve hours that I HAVE seen is TWO too many for me haha! I was laying in bed last night after this incident and I swear I felt something crunchy. I freaked again and kicked it off the bed. Whether it was the remains of the first moth, I will never know. “Bugs, bugs, go away. Do NOT come again another day!” 🙂
